Curiosity killed a cat?

Surely you have repeatedly heard the saying that curiosity turned out to be fatal for a cat. It seems that nothing in the world can happen without the participation of purrs. Is curiosity dangerous for a cat?

Why does a cat have nine lives?
In fact, curiosity doesn’t so often sideways to cats, as they are smart enough to avoid dangers. Their sense organs are well developed, they perfectly balance and are endowed with an extremely strong survival instinct. And this largely ensures their safety in cases when something cat is interested. Or it helps to get out of a situation that would become fatal for another animal. That is why it is said that a cat has nine lives.
However, it happens that a cat overestimates its own abilities and, for example, gets stuck in a hard-to-reach gap or on top of a tree. But in this case, they have enough intelligence to call for help (loudly!) So that people organize a rescue operation.
The cat’s ability to find a way out of difficult situations does not mean at all, however, that the owners may lose their vigilance. It depends on the owner how safe the manifestation of feline curiosity in the house will be.

How to ensure the safety of a curious cat?
- Remove from the cat’s access area all objects that could be dangerous for her: needles, pins, fishing line, erasers, thumbtacks, bags, aluminum balls, very small toys, etc.
- Do not leave windows open if they are not equipped with a special net to prevent the cat from falling.
- Do not hope that some item will go unnoticed by the cat if you do not lock it in a safe place. Cats enthusiastically explore the surrounding space and will not disregard anything.
