The village of Karavaevo, located in the Pukhovichi district of the Minsk region of Belarus, suddenly found itself at the epicenter of a scandal. It all started with the fact that the famous tennis player in the past, and now the popular singer Olga Barabanshchikova anonymously in the social. networks sent a video. On it - a dog exhausted almost to the state of a skeleton, locked in a tank, eagerly pounces on an abandoned apple. Well-wishers in a post report that the owner of the dog has another four-legged friend: he is also hungry, and even with torn ears, right there, next to him, on a chain. This person rarely comes to the village and feeds dogs with potatoes ... well, if once a week. Judging by their appearance, animals have been starving for more than one month. They don’t have water either ...

Olga immediately re-wrote the message calling for help to the poor fellow. But this was not limited to. The very next day, the singer, together with the TV presenter of the NTV-Belarus channel Irina Sabrina and the crew of the PE.by project, left for Karavaevo. Interested animal rights activists also “armed” themselves with the support of the police.

Unfortunately, the owner of the house was not found. According to neighbors, he really happens in the village on short visits. And he needs dogs for hunting. This is probably why the owner believes that animals should be hungry so that they rush frenziedly behind a beast or a bird.

Surprised and the attitude of local residents to the situation. No one condemned the owner of the unfortunate dogs. The impression was that such an attitude towards animals in the village was the norm. And, unfortunately, if you think about it, then it is ...

I remember that I myself had recently heard a conversation between two villagers. “Again the puppy dog brought? What will you do with them? ” “So what?” About the corner of the house, but don’t suffer. ”

Of course, with the arrival of the girls in Karavaevo, the life of the dogs did not instantly change. The law prohibits the removal of someone or something from the territory of private property without the consent of the owner. But still, the hope that the situation will change soon remains. The police accepted Olga Barabanshchikova’s statement, promised to send a specialist to the village who will evaluate the condition of the dogs and give an opinion on the improper keeping of the animals. And with such a document it will already be possible to compete with the owner for the dogs!

In addition, publicity should play its job. In the social. networks, for example, already a whole group of people who are not indifferent to the fate of these two hungry village dogs. They collect signatures for a collective electronic complaint against the owner-flayer in the police department of the Pukhovichi district. Many promise to personally support Olga and Irina, and next time to go to Karavaevo together.

Some believe that it would be easier to steal the dogs, to bring the owner to a friendly court ... But! How many such “owners” around the world ... Olga Barabanshchikova correctly wrote in a post that, only by giving this case loud publicity, drawing public attention to it, something can be changed. Only by joint efforts can it be shown to edification of such owners that such acts simply do not get away with it.
